Job summary

Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA to fill a Mechanical CAD & BOM Reviewer contract role. You will support the Design Tool Infrastructure Team, focusing on reviewing mechanical CAD data and validating BOM mappings.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of repetitive validation with high accuracy, and comfortable collaborating across departments and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience with mechanical CAD, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Hands-on experience using CAD software to open, navigate, and review existing mechanical CAD files.
• Understanding of mechanical parts and assemblies, particularly in datacenter systems, racks, or similar hardware.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform methodical, repetitive work accurately.
• Ability to compare information across files or systems and seek clarification when needed.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Review existing mechanical CAD files for NVIDIA datacenter system products.
• Match BOM information to the appropriate mechanical CAD files and assemblies.
• Compare CAD files and data across systems to verify correct matches.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with mechanical designers to resolve them.
• Support the SimReady digital twin project by providing CAD data for conversion into digital twins.
• Document findings and communicate questions to the team.
• Perform detailed, repetitive validation with high accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with team members across departments and time zones.
