Qualifications

Job description

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD / BIM Designer to join Hazen’s HVAC / Plumbing group. The candidate will work with project lead engineers to produce BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the HVAC / Plumbing discipline. The ideal candidate is a team player and self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and has the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. The candidate must be detail oriented and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Preparing plan, section, isometric, and detail drawings for various HVAC / Plumbing systems.
• Coordinating with the other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, Process Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Site Civil) regarding the HVAC / Plumbing design
• Ensuring compliance with the established Hazen and / or client CADBIM standards.
• Providing input on CAD / BIM standards and workflows.
• Using parametric elements within Revit, and basic parametric Revit family creation and manipulation.
