Job summary

Northwest Ambulance seeks a Cabulance driver to provide pre-hospital and interfacility transport in a wheelchair-accessible van. You will handle patient belongings, paperwork, and ensure smooth handoffs from pickup to receiving-staff report.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Training in CPR/First Aid is reimbursed by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 23+ with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid Driver's License - must have maintained for 2 years or longer.
• Clean driving record - limit of 2 citations in past 36 months; DUI and other serious offenses may disqualify candidacy.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (NWA reimburses the cost).
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holiday.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, occasionally high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Cabulance Driver to join our growing team. As an Cabulance driver with Northwest Ambulance, you will provide pre-hospital and interfacility care, transport patients safely, and represent our organization with professionalism and heart. Operating solo in a wheelchair-accessible van, you'll transport patients between medical facilities — handling their belongings, equipment, and paperwork — and ensure every handoff is smooth from pickup to receiving-staff report.

What You'll Do
