Job summary

Belden Inc. is seeking an experienced machine operator to run and maintain cabling equipment on our 1st shift in California. The role runs Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 1pm, with starting pay of $22 per hour.

You will follow Manufacturing Specifications, adjust processes, operate auxiliary equipment, and ensure safety in the work area. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, with preference for those able to manage multiple machines and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating multiple machines concurrently preferred.
• Ability to read specifications using computer system or hard copy.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows Manufacturing Specification to determine machine set-up, materials required, and quantity to run.
• Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments to bring product to spec if necessary.
• Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment.
• Personally responsible for the safety of self and others in their work area.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and production posting correctly.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
