Belden is seeking a manufacturing operator to support extrusion of wire and cable products. You will follow production specifications, set up equipment, adjust process parameters, and monitor line performance to consistently meet daily goals while maintaining safe operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should demonstrate good verbal and written communication, basic math, and the ability to operate machinery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must operate machinery safely and follow safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Reads Shop Order and Manufacturing Specification to determine machine setup, materials required, and quantity to run.
• Verifies raw materials delivered according to specifications.
• Sets temperature profile on extruder for material being run.
• Selects tip and die and installs into crosshead for proper concentricity.
• Ensures proper tension and dimensions by adjusting line and gear ratios.
• Tests and adjusts wire pre-heat or quench temperatures as needed.
• Records all completed work on reports and forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
