Job summary

Classic Wire and Cable (CWC) seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to support the cutting department and warehouse operations. The role focuses on operating cutting machinery, moving materials with a forklift, and ensuring quality packaging and labeling for customer orders.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and be comfortable following safety procedures, with a proactive approach to learning and teamwork. This is a physically demanding 8-hour shift requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safety is Number 1 attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic, dependability and teamwork.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and use measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and assist with warehouse activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and wear PPE.
• Operate forklift to move materials and transport cuts to shipping.
• Cut and re-spool cable with wire cutting machines.
• Record cut and scrap quantities and assist inventory.
