CC&N in Wisconsin is hiring a Cable Technician to join our employee-owned team. This full-time, hands-on role involves installing, troubleshooting, and managing low-voltage cabling across new construction, existing infrastructure, factories, and medical facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Must provide valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance; must be able to commute to various sites.
• Shifts can include occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Installation of low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call systems, fiber optic, etc.
• Cross connect cable
• Perform fiber splicing and termination of cable according to color codes
• Test for polarity, connectivity, and repair
• Install racks and patch panels
• Set up computer rooms
• Process paperwork accurately and timely
• Maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
