Job summary

CC&N, based in Eau Claire, WI, is hiring entry-level Cable Technicians to join our employee-owned team. In this hands-on role, you will learn the art of cable installation across new construction, existing infrastructure, factories and medical facilities, installing, troubleshooting and collaborating to get the job done.

We value detail-oriented individuals, capable of working in a fast-paced environment; shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and ability to prove insurance.
• Ability to commute to multiple job sites.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage cabling including voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call, fiber optic.
• Cross connect cables and perform fiber splicing/termination.
• Test polarity and connectivity; repair as needed.
• Install racks and patch panels; set up computer rooms.
• Process paperwork accurately and timely; maintain OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain safety compliance per company policies.
