Job summary

Team Fishel in Chandler, AZ is hiring Cable Technicians. The role requires experience with Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, punch downs, and testing, with a wage range of $23.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include running, terminating, pulling, and testing cables; installing fiber; reading blueprints; and maintaining safety and documentation on site. Candidates must have their own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• 1+ year of Cable Technician experience with low-voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6 and fiber optics).
• Experience with punch downs, terminations, pulling, and testing.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have own tools.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform bending, stooping, reaching and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Run, terminate, pull, and test copper cable.
• Install and terminate fiber optic cable.
• Test and troubleshoot various cable types.
• Follow work procedures and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on the job site.
• Submit required documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with all aspects of the project as needed.
• Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and parts.
