Job summary

Team Fishel in Chandler, AZ is hiring Cable Technicians. The role requires experience with Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, punch downs, and testing, with a wage range of $23.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include running, terminating, pulling, and testing cables; installing fiber; reading blueprints; and maintaining safety and documentation on site. Candidates must have their own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• 1+ year of Cable Technician experience with low-voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6 and fiber optics).
• Experience with punch downs, terminations, pulling, and testing.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have own tools.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform bending, stooping, reaching and climbing.

Candidates for the Cable Technician role must have prior experience with Cat5e, Cat6, punch downs, cable pulling, terminations, and testing. Fiber Optic experience is strongly preferred (terminating and testing) but not required. The wage range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00 an hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications
