Job summary

Manatal is seeking Low Voltage Technicians for renovations across the Northern Virginia area (Centreville, Woodbridge, Alexandria, Annandale). You’ll work in lead-directed crews with daily site assignments and multi-site rotations.

You will install, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber), assist with rack/telecom closet builds, run cable pathways, and maintain accurate labeling. US citizenship, tools, reliable transportation, and background checks are required; OSHA 10

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen with valid documents for site access
  • Experience with structured cabling installation, termination, and testing
  • Comfortable traveling to multiple job sites within a week
  • Own hand tools and full PPE
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • Availability for the full assigned window

Job description

We are seeking Low Voltage Technicians forassignments supporting multiple active renovation projects throughout the Northern Virginia (Centreville, Woodbridge, Alexandria, Annandale)area. Techs will work as part of a lead-directed crew, with daily site assignments communicated in advance. This is fast-paced, multi-site work suited for technicians comfortable adapting to different environments day to day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, and test structured cabling including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
  • Assist with rack and telecom closet buildouts as directed by the site lead
  • Run new cable pathways and pull cable in commercial and institutional environments
  • Follow lead technician's daily scope and site assignments across multiple locations during the week
  • Maintain accurate labeling and documentation of installed cabling
  • Adhere to jobsite safety protocols and site-specific access requirements
  • Communicate professionally with lead techs, project staff, and site personnel
Required Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen (valid US Passport or Birth Certificate, plus State ID, required for site access)
