Job summary

MoldCable is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to join our field teams in Austin, TX, and other locations. You will install cables for internet, TV, and phone services, and provide on-site troubleshooting and customer service.

We offer paid training, on-the-job learning, and the chance to grow into long-term roles within a supportive team. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred as travel on the road is common.

Qualifications

• Experience with cable, fiber, coax, or similar hands-on field work is preferred.
• Paid training provided to help you get started.
• English communication is required.

Cable Installation Technician — Austin, Houston, Charleston, Dallas, and other locations across the U.S.

Pay: Around $1,300/week, depending on completed work and performance

Job Type: 1099 Contract

Location: Austin, Texas / On the road

MoldCable is a national leader in telecommunications, providing internet, TV, and phone cable installation services across the U.S. We are currently looking for Cable Technicians to join our team in Austin, TX.

Experience with cable, fiber, coax, low voltage, electrical, construction, or similar hands‑on field work is preferred, but we provide 1–2 weeks of paid training to help you get started.

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on field work
• Able to communicate in English
• Valid driver’s license and SSN
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Previous technical or installation experience is a plus
• SUV, minivan, or pickup truck is preferred

You’ll be working with cable and internet installations, troubleshooting, and customer service in the field.
