Job summary

KCI Telecommunications is seeking a Security Installation Technician to support security system installations on data center construction projects in Ashland, VA. You will install CCTV, access control, alarms, and related systems, while pulling and organizing low-voltage cabling to meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of security system installation or low-voltage cabling experience.
• Hands-on experience pulling cable and installing conduit.
• Knowledge of pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage cable.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and security system components.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Preferred: NICET or CompTIA Security+ or similar certification.
• New construction or data center experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do
