We are seeking a hands‑on Cable Systems Support Technician to support telecommunications operations and low‑voltage infrastructure within a federal healthcare environment. The technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining copper and fiber cabling systems and associated telecommunications spaces.
This position will also support day‑to‑day service requests, Moves/Adds/Changes (MAC), infrastructure projects, equipment moves, and facility modernization activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in an occupied facility and has a strong understanding of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.
Opportunities for national travel are available.
The ideal candidate is a dependable field technician who can move between service‑ticket work and small project assignments, understands structured cabling standards, documents work cleanly, and can troubleshoot physical‑layer issues without requiring constant supervision.
