Job summary

A water sports facility in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Cableway Operator. Responsibilities include instructing guests on safety practices and equipment usage, monitoring behavior, and performing maintenance. The ideal candidate should be able to work in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and be CPR certified. Flexible scheduling and bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Minimum availability of 4 shifts a week.
• Ground-keeping duties involve the operation of mowers, saws, and other tools.
• Able to perform maintenance and corrosive prevention that includes handling paint and other chemicals and adhesives.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• AED Certified preferred.
• Minimum availability.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Assisting guests with any problems.

• Keeping the machine in working order and fulfilling small repairs during operation.

• Attending seminars and safety meetings on a regular basis.
• Dispatch guests safely and quickly.
• Diagnose problems and inform the manager on duty if an unusual problem occurs.

Job Description: Responsible for operating the cableway, and instructing guests on riding guidelines, best practices, and safety during their ride and time at the park.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructing the guests on the proper usage of equipment and lifejackets.
• Teaching the guests the cable rules (i.e. safety rules, proper exiting, buoys, etc.)
• Assisting the guests with any problems.
• Monitoring guests’ conduct and enforcing riding rules.

• Must be able to work in various weather outside during shifts.

· Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR).
