A water sports facility in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Cableway Operator.   • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • AED Certified preferred.
  • Minimum availability.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

  • Dispatch guests safely and quickly.
  • Diagnose problems and inform the manager on duty if an unusual problem occurs.

Job Description: Responsible for operating the cableway, and instructing guests on riding guidelines, best practices, and safety during their ride and time at the park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructing the guests on the proper usage of equipment and lifejackets.
  • Teaching the guests the cable rules (i.e. safety rules, proper exiting, buoys, etc.)
  • Assisting the guests with any problems.
  • Monitoring guests’ conduct and enforcing riding rules.

Knowledge, Education, and or Experience required:

  • · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work in various weather outside during shifts.
  • Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit, and turn/pivot.
  • Lift/lower, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
Additional Requirements

· Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR).
