Job summary

LAPP is seeking a hands-on Extrusion Operator to join our Florham Park, NJ team. You will set up extrusion machines, verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and ensure first-length products meet spec as you work across shifts to resolve issues and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, strong math, and basic computer literacy.
• 1–3 years as a machine operator (CNC, machinist, or extruder).
• Experience in process-driven manufacturing; wire & cable exposure preferred.

• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion machines and verify dimensions for first-length parts.
• Perform changeovers, teardown, and troubleshoot to maintain output.
• Collaborate across shifts to resolve small process issues.
• Verify customer requirements and adhere to work instructions.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workstation.
