Prince Telecom LLC is hiring full-time entry level Cable Technicians in the Milwaukee, WI area. No experience required; paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and more are provided.

You will install and troubleshoot video, internet, and phone services for customers, meet driving and safety standards, and work overtime as needed. Excellent growth opportunities and competitive weekly pay accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Live within an hour of Milwaukee, WI.
• 6 months to 1 year of telecom experience or related work.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment; perform overtime, travel, and on-call duties as needed.
• Work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company without needed sponsorship
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must live within an hour of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• 6 months to 1 year of Telecom experience

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, work alone in remote locations , bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: entry into attics or crawl spaces, use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard and mouse
