Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC in Milwaukee, WI is hiring full-time entry-level Cable Technicians. No experience required; we provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and more.

Install, troubleshoot and service video, internet, telephone, and alarm systems in homes and businesses, educate customers, and maintain gear. You must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and reside within an hour of Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year of telecom experience (preferred but not required).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Overtime, travel, and after-hours responsibilities as needed.

Earn $750 to $1000 per week

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company without needed sponsorship
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must live within an hour of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• 6 months to 1 year of Telecom experience

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, work alone in remote locations , bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: entry into attics or crawl spaces, use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard and mouse
