Join our team as a Cable Installation Technician at Prince Telecom LLC

Prince Telecom is hiring entry-level Cable Installation Technicians in South Holland, IL, and Chicago, IL, to connect America. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Resolve, repair, and install cable TV, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment following guidelines.
• Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers, and switches.
• Test and analyze results using company and customer devices.
• Assist customers by identifying and resolving issues.
• Drive a company vehicle safely between various locations.
• Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with necessary equipment.
• Accurately complete paperwork and update work orders.

Customer Service Duties

• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including handling escalations.
• Review services with customers to ensure understanding.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and 2+ years of driving experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and adverse weather conditions.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to travel, work extended hours, overtime, and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and carry ladders up to 80 lbs.
