Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Cable Harness Technician in Austin, TX to support electrical assembly and harness fabrication. You will follow engineering drawings, schematics, and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards while using soldering irons, crimpers, and hand tools to build and test harnesses.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical assembly or wiring, plus soldering and crimping skills, with reading diagrams and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical assembly or wiring work.
• Soldering (through-hole or connectors) and crimping experience.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards (certification a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly of components and systems per drawings and specifications.
• Use soldering irons, crimpers, and hand tools to assemble and install components.
• Build and assemble cable harnesses following IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards.
• Inspect and test harnesses for electrical integrity and durability.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet quality and performance standards.
