Qualifications
Must have 4+ years of experience in manufacturing/assembly line.
Ability to comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials.
Organized with the ability to keep count of parts.
Responsibilities
Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions/blueprints.
Cut and strip wire to specifications.
Crimp terminals to wire ends.
Install insulation sleeving and cable ties.
Route, wire, and assemble electronic components.
Conduct functional and continuity tests.
Use a solder iron for soldering wires to switches.
Perform visual inspections of assemblies.
Skills
Wire/Cable harness assembly experience
Familiarity with IPC J-STD-001
Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620
Ability to read process documentation
Good organizational skills
Effective communication in English
Education
High school diploma
Associate degree (preferred)
