Job summary

Solutions Management Group is seeking a Network Cable Technician to participate in the infrastructure of LAN, WAN, and CATV networks. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain copper and fiber cabling, assist in designing cabling standards, and support client projects to meet specifications.

You will provide excellent customer service, coordinate with clients and teams, and help manage equipment, pathways, and surveillance cabling as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Experience designing and installing networks to meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Proven ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to SMG clients and staff.
• Assemble materials, explain service orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Install low voltage cables and fiber; mount telecom equipment per standards.
• Assist in routing and configuring routers, hubs, switches, and pathways.
• Conduct site surveys and manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and project documentation.
