Job summary

Employ Partners is seeking a Production Assembler in Ball Ground, GA. This full-time, first-shift role offers temp-to-hire opportunities with a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule, Monday–Friday, plus health benefits.

The position involves assembling cable and wire components, cutting and stripping wires, and performing quality checks to meet IPC620A standards. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with BOMs and drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and instructions.
• Familiar with measuring tools (tape, calipers a plus).
• Learn and operate to IPC620A standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable and wire components using BOMs and work instructions.
• Cut, strip, and prepare wires to precise specs.
• Perform hand crimping per IPC620A and quality standards.
• Connect wires into terminals and connectors per production docs.
• Conduct in-process quality checks for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and report material shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain pace to meet daily output and on-time delivery goals.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
