Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Cable/Wire Harness Assembler for the 2nd shift in Mesa, AZ. You will read diagrams and schematics, assemble wires into harnesses, and ensure quality through measurement and soldering.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of cable/wire experience, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and the capability to work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cable and wire assemblies.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly.
• Pass a vision exam to inspect work at close distance.
• Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Ability to use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cable and wire assemblies
• Must be able to regularly sit, stand, and walk
• Must be able to pass a vision exam to inspect work at a close distance
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math

2nd Shift Schedule: 3:30PM-12:30AM M-Th; 2:30-10:30PM Every other Friday.

External hires must be able to complete training on 1st shift prior to starting on 2nd shift
