Qualifications

• 7+ years of cabinetmaking/drafting experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing.
• Strong knowledge of joinery and cabinetry construction.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Formal training or certification in cabinetmaking, drafting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and 3D renderings for custom cabinetry using CAD software.
• Consult with clients or contractors to understand needs and preferences.
• Translate concepts into accurate construction plans with production teams.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, hardware, and design best practices.
• Review architectural and design specifications for feasibility.
• Ensure designs meet safety regulations and quality standards.
• Revise drawings and plans based on feedback or design changes.
• Assist in cost estimation and timeline planning for projects.
• Select materials, including types of wood and hardware.
• Design custom cabinets and woodwork based on specifications.
• Create detailed drawings or 3D models of planned cabinetry.
• Support production teams during fabrication and installation.
