Job summary

Renew Medic by CLT is seeking a Cabinet Technician/Carpenter in the Charlotte area to install, repair and restore cabinetry. The ideal candidate will handle countertops when needed and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills while keeping work areas clean and safe.

You will work in a family-friendly, team-oriented environment with regular hours and opportunities for growth within the company. Prior cabinetry experience and the ability to operate table saws, routers and hand tools are important

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet installation, renovation, cabinetry, water restoration, furniture or wood working.
• Attention to detail, timeliness, organization skills and customer focus.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet installation.
• Experience with countertops is a plus.
• Responsible, reliable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn.
• A strong work ethic.
• Previous work with trim carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove damaged cabinets and re-install repaired cabinets.
• Safely operate cabinet related equipment and machinery including table saws, miter saws, routers, edge banders, bandsaws, jointers, planers, sanders, power tools, dust collection, etc.
• Cabinet assembly.
• Consistently provide high quality customer service.
• Strictly adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
• Ensure job sites and customer properties are clean, safe, and organized during your time on-site.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork is filled out daily for each job performed.

Job description

We are seeking a Cabinet Technician/Carpenter who is an experienced cabinet installer. This role will require knowledge of carpentry and cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills to carefully remove damaged cabinets without causing further damage to other surroundings. Knowledge of countertops is a plus, as we often must detach or support countertops in place while we remove and repair cabinets. We have a family-friendly atmosphere that promotes teamwork and a positive work environment.

Ideal Candidate
