Job summary
MarkTannerConstruction,Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Lead Foreman to oversee operations in our high-volume cabinet shop.
This role requires 10–15 years of cabinet manufacturing experience, strong leadership and hands-on expertise with CNC machines, edgebanders, and production woodworking. The Lead Foreman will supervise daily shop activities, ensure accurate fabrication, maintain production efficiency, and uphold high craftsmanship standards.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of cabinet shop or woodworking experience
- Management or lead/supervisory experience required
- Strong proficiency with CNC machines, edgebanders, and modern shop equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive leadership style
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Able to work effectively in a high-volume, team-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a box truck preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor cabinet shop staff in a fast-paced production environment
- Manage daily workflow, job assignments, scheduling, and shop organization
- Oversees safe and efficient operation of CNC machinery, edgebanders, and all woodworking equipment
- Ensure accuracy in measuring, preparing, machining, finishing, and assembling cabinet components
- Maintain high quality-control standards throughout all phases of production
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and installers to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace
