Job summary

CKF is seeking a Cabinet Service Technician to install and service cabinets and closets in customer homes, new construction sites, and commercial environments. You will review plans, follow instructions, and ensure high-quality finished work while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include finishing cabinet work, hardware installation, learning carpentry methods, and coordinating tool maintenance. Must have a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience performing service work on cabinets or closets.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn carpentry methods and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and job plans.
• Ability to measure accurately to 1/16 inch.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work and finishes on installed cabinets, including door/drawer fixes and hardware installation.
• Install wire closet systems per pre-fabricated instructions for an exceptional finished product.
• Review and follow job plans/instructions in the tracking system to grasp details.
• Track and update job status in the internal tracking system.
• Observe operation of tools/equipment for proper maintenance and safety.
• Coordinate repairs of tools/equipment as needed.
• Maintain and operate equipment per manuals; keep workspace clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
