Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Cincinnati to connect customers with the right products, explain features and financing, and close sales. You’ll move through the store, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service to meet home improvement goals.

You will work with various departments, become a product expert, and support checkout, pricing, and training of associates. This role emphasizes customer interactions and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and showcasing Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors including estimates, scheduling, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to maintain stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
