Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Houston is seeking a cabinet painting technician to operate indoors, using spray, brush, and roller techniques on cabinet boxes, frames, and doors within a warehouse painting booth.

You will arrive in company-logo attire, follow project manager instructions, maintain clean work sites, and communicate daily progress. The role requires a strong work ethic, color-matching ability, and reliable transportation with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Stellar work ethic and reliability are essential.
• Must follow directions without deviation.
• Must be able to match colors accurately (not color blind).
• Experience spraying and rolling paint and primer.
• Strong prep and finishing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Paint cabinet boxes and frames.
• Spray cabinet doors in our warehouse paint booth.
• Arrive on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate clothing.
• Follow instructions from the project manager.
• Adhere to Trustpoints on every job.
• Keep work area clean and tidy, and clean daily.
• Report progress to the project manager daily.
• Work efficiently and minimize time at client sites.
• Assist crews on other projects as needed.

Kitchen Tune-Up Houston is seeking a cabinet painting technician. All work is indoors, spraying, brush, and rolling.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Painting of cabinet boxes and frames
• Spraying of cabinet doors in our warehouse paint-booth
• Arrive to jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing
• Follow instructions given by project manager
• Follow Trustpoints on every job
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
• Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed)
• Help crews out on other projects as needed.

Skills:

• Stellar work ethic
• Able to follow directions without deviating
• Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind)
• Able to spray and roll paint and primer
• Excellent prep and finishing skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
• Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Compensation: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
