Job summary

Mint Hill Cabinet Shop, Inc. seeks a Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in the Charlotte area. You will build custom cabinetry for luxury homes and commercial projects, cutting pieces to exact dimensions and assembling cabinets in our shop.

The role emphasizes accuracy, quality finishes, and the ability to lift up to 75 lb. Training on MHC sanding, quality, and safety standards will be provided; a team-driven environment awaits with opportunities for skilled growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with cabinetry and finishing is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings accurately.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut plywood and hardwood pieces to exact dimensions.
• Build cabinets to shop drawings meeting our standards.
• Sand cabinet parts, panels, doors, edges, and profiles to finish-ready standards.
• Upfit doors/drawers onto finished cabinets.
• Inspect your work and correct any issues before parts downstream.
• Maintain steady production while meeting quality standards at MHC.

You’ll play an important role in building custom cabinetry that go into luxury homes and commercial projects throughout the greater Charlotte area.

What You’ll Do

• Cut plywood and hardwood pieces to exact dimensions


• Build cabinets to shop drawings, meeting our uncompromising standards


• Sand cabinet parts, panels, doors, edges, and profiles to finish-ready standardsi>
  
• Upfit doors/drawers onto finished cabinets


• Inspect your work and correct any issues before parts downstream


• Maintain steady production while meeting MHC quality standards

Schedule

• Mon to Thr 6:30am – 4:30 pm


• Fri 6:30am – 12:00 pm


• Flexibility to work some overtime as needed
