Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and woodwork pieces, transforming architectural plans into beautiful, functional products. Your expertise in woodworking, precise craftsmanship, and understanding of construction plans will be essential to delivering exceptional results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential projects, restoration jobs, and custom fabrication initiatives, all while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately build cabinets and wood fixtures.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and CNC machines to shape and assemble wood components.
  • Measure and cut materials precisely using blueprint reading skills to ensure perfect fit and finish.
  • Assemble cabinetry components with attention to detail, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
  • Install finished cabinets and fixtures on-site, including door hanging, fixture installation, and siding work as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects aligned with specifications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or carpentry within residential or restoration settings.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, CNC equipment, and metal stud framing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety standards including power tool safety practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials such as wood construction materials effectively.
  • Experience with drywall installation, caulking, stucco work, flooring installation, tile laying or electrical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision craftsmanship in fabrication and restoration projects.
