Carter Lumber is seeking a Cabinet Installer/Service Technician in Vineland, NJ to perform cabinet repairs under warranty. Knowledge of cabinets and installation is vital, with a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities include analyzing jobsites, repairing warranty products, testing cabinet performance, maintaining safety, and pursuing product training and certification to ensure top-quality service for customers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools.
• Valid driver's license, able to pass qualification to operate Carter pickup truck and van.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 32 ft.
• Pass all Carter Lumber employment requirements.
• Strong math, written and verbal communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow directions and analyze problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes jobsite prior to beginning a job to ensure quality repairs can be done.
• Repairs assigned warranty products using the appropriate tools.
• Conducts cabinets performance tests.
• Create and supports a safe work environment on the job site to protect the company's interests.
• Ensures customers are treated with respect and receive high-quality workmanship.
• Acquire training to repair the product safely and become certified where needed.

Requirements

Customer Service

Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship. This is accomplished through timely completion of the job, attention to detail, following the company’s code of conduct and the ability to react to problems and complaints in a patient and understanding manner.

Knowledge & Training

Responsible for acquiring the training needed to repair the product safely and efficiently. Responsible for becoming certified in the product/area that is being repaired to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.
