Job summary

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a carpenter to perform custom cabinet installation, countertop setting, and finish carpentry on customer sites in New England. The role offers a clear growth path and steady, year-round work.

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $25 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time W-2 position (40+ hours/week) with benefits including health, dental & vision insurance and a 401(k) with company match. OSHA 10 is a plus and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of carpentry, cabinet installation, or finish carpentry experience.
• Comfortable reading plans and performing installations with some independence.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom cabinet installation, countertop setting, and finish carpentry under moderate supervision.
• Read plans and execute portions of installations with growing independence.
• Deliver clean, precise work on customer-facing jobs.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional jobsite.
• Work alongside Apprentices and senior carpenters as part of a crew.
