Job summary
Sage Surfaces, LLC is seeking a Cabinet Installation Tech to join as a 1099 subcontractor in California. You’ll work on a per-project basis, with typical earnings between $3,000 and $5,000 per project and 1–3 projects monthly based on demand and capacity.
You'll manage tool preparation, in-home measurements, and precise installation of pre-manufactured cabinetry. Expect independent scheduling, clear homeowner communication, and adherence to design specs throughout each project.
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in cabinet installation or carpentry.
- Proficient in installing pre-manufactured cabinetry and related woodwork.
- Own tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy components.
- EPA Renovator for Lead Safe Practices Certificate or license/insurance.
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints and floor plans.
- Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tools and materials for installation.
- Travel to job sites and perform precise in-home measurements.
- Install pre-manufactured cabinetry per design specifications.
- Communicate with homeowners and partners to ensure satisfaction.
- Verify installations align with blueprints and project scopes.
