Cabinet Finisher Srin GAC St. Louis

Any shift; Up to 15% shift differential for employees who work non-standard hours.

The compensation range for this role is $30.45 - $35.52 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined by factors including qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 4 years experience in wood finishing; advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes; aerospace industry experience preferred.

Position Purpose: Under supervision, prepares, applies, and touches up aircraft furniture finishes. Oversees projects, guides coworkers, and mentors other cabinet finishers.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs high-quality repairs on aircraft furniture surfaces using spray and manual methods.
2. Interprets specifications to ensure quality and compliance with design and engineering requirements.
3. Follows safety protocols, maintains cleanliness, and protects aircraft interiors.
4. Mentors and trains less experienced technicians.
5. Implements process improvements using Lean Six Sigma tools.
6. Uses material tracking systems for parts demand and work sign-offs.
7. Supports initiatives to meet organizational goals.

Additional Functions:

1. Assumes lead responsibilities when necessary, overseeing projects and delegating tasks.
2. Conducts safety audits and maintains shop equipment.
3. Develops and implements continuous improvement ideas.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements: Knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and processes; proficiency in English; ability to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift; computer literacy.
