Job summary

A cabinetry design firm based in South Dakota is seeking a Cabinet Designer/Estimator. The candidate will be responsible for producing layouts, PDF drawings, and material lists, alongside providing technical support. Ideal applicants will have at least 5 years of experience, strong comprehension of kitchen and bath design, and proficiency with 20/20 Design software. This full-time role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with compensation ranging between $28 and $31 per hour along with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of cabinet design experience in production homebuilding and commercial industry.
• Mastery level proficiency using 20/20 Design software.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret RFP/RFQ specifications and architectural drawings.
• Operate 20/20 Design software to create documents per standards.
• Assemble cost estimates and other documentation for bids.
• Assist with order management and supervise designers.
• Work across cabinet sales and installation operations to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain systems like Bid Tracker and SAP.

Skills

Excellent digital communications skills

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
