Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver for Dallas cabinets operations. Responsible for loading, transporting and delivering cabinets to customer sites with a focus on safety, accuracy and professional service.

The role uses handheld devices for DVIR/HOS records, and may involve forklift operation where needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to read and speak English, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Strong math and measurement skills for parcel and load records.
• Ability to read and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport cabinets to customer sites.
• Deliver to specified site and unload safely and accurately.
• Verify orders and maintain logs of deliveries including miles and locations.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices for DVIR/HOS documentation when not driving.
• Maintain hours of service logs and complete pre/post trip inspections.
• Assist with credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate forklifts or equipment to load/offload materials.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
