Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting and assembling components.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine cabinet dimensions and materials.
• Select materials (wood, laminates, hardware) and choose hand/power tools.
• Assemble cabinet components using adhesives, screws, nails, and other fasteners.
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
• Inspect finished cabinets for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, proper storage of tools and materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
