Job summary

Modern Cabinets & Co. in the Detroit metro area is hiring a full-time Assembly Line Worker to assemble cabinet components on a busy production line, operate basic equipment and hand tools, and ensure smooth flow through each stage of production.

You will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, communicate with team members and supervisors, report defects or quality concerns, and strive to meet daily production quotas with reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate basic production equipment safely.
• Quality control: inspect parts and finished products for defects and accuracy.
• Experience packing and organizing products for shipping.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and measuring instruments.
• Effective communication with team members, leads, and supervisors.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Comfort standing for extended periods and lifting materials within reasonable weight limits.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly line work is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinet components according to production specifications.
• Operate basic machinery and hand tools.
• Measure and align parts, fasten components, and perform visual inspections; pack finished products for shipment.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate with teammates and supervisors to address production issues or material needs; assist with machine setup and meeting daily quotas.
