Qualifications

  • Comfort standing for extended periods and lifting materials within reasonable weight limits.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly line work is beneficial but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Role Description

The Assembly Line Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for assembling cabinet components according to production specifications, operating basic machinery and hand tools, and ensuring that parts move smoothly through each stage of the line. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and aligning parts, fastening components, performing visual inspections, and packing finished products for shipment. The Assembly Line Worker follows safety procedures, maintains a clean and organized work area, and communicates with team members and supervisors to address production issues or material needs. This role may also involve assisting with machine setup, reporting defects or quality concerns, and meeting daily production quotas.

Qualifications
  • Ability to operate basic production equipment and perform Machine Operation tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Skills in Quality Control, including inspecting parts and finished products for defects and accuracy.
  • Experience with Packing and organizing products to meet shipping and storage requirements.
  • Proficiency in using Hand Tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and measuring instruments.
  • Effective Communication skills for working with team members, leads, and supervisors.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and lifting materials within reasonable weight limits.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly line work is beneficial but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
