Crystal Cabinet Works, Inc. in Princeton, MN is seeking an Assembler I to join our team. The role involves attaching doors, drawers and hardware to frameless cabinets, with first shift hours and overtime as needed.

Your work includes reading orders, setting up machinery, assembling components, and coordinating with other departments to ensure parts fit correctly. A focus on accuracy and efficient production is essential.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Communicates with drafters as needed to clarify jobs and programming.
• Performs touch-ups and repairs.
• Sets up and operates a variety of machines i.e., chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, pocket screws, etc.
• Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of other departments within the company i.e., drawers, parts, doors as needed to complete jobs.
• Gathers and organizes parts i.e., doors, drawer parts and hardware as needed to complete weekly work load.
• Maintains knowledge of set up to ensure product is properly built.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
• Fills in other areas as needed.
