Job summary

Flooring Services LTD is seeking a Cabinet Assembler to build base, wall, pantry, and specialty cabinets in a fast-paced environment. You will position frames, apply glue, install shelves and hardware, and ensure quality throughout assembly.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to read work instructions and measurements. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant manufacturing or cabinet-building experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble base, wall, pantry, and specialty cabinets per specs.
• Position frames on tables and conveyors.
• Apply glue to frames and components.
• Install ends, bottoms, shelves, and toe kicks.
• Secure parts using hand tools and pneumatic nailer.
• Install plastic corner blocks and hardware.
• Load cabinets onto conveyors for the next production stage.
• Inspect quality and accuracy throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Join Our Team

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality base cabinets, wall cabinets, pantry cabinets, and specialty cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works safely, and is committed to meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cabinet Assembler, you will:

• Assemble base, wall, pantry, and specialty cabinets according to company specifications and quality standards.
• Position cabinet frames on assembly tables and conveyor systems.
• Apply glue to frames, grooves, and cabinet components as required.
• Install cabinet ends, bottoms, shelves, toe kicks, and other cabinet components.
• Secure cabinet parts using hand tools and pneumatic nailing equipment.
• Install plastic corner blocks and other hardware as needed.
• Load completed cabinets onto conveyor systems for the next stage of production.
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to distinguish between various wood species and cabinet door styles.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately.
• Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to learn and safely operate hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency to meet production goals.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, or cabinet-building experience is preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Friday work as needed.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled production environment for extended periods.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators, may be required in designated areas.
