Job summary

BURROWS CABINETS is seeking an operator to safely and efficiently assemble cabinets on our Waxahachie, TX production line. This full-time role requires steady hands and a commitment to quality in a manufacturing environment.

You will identify order sequence, prepare supplies, install hardware using jigs, and ensure shelves and doors fit to spec. The job requires reading drawings, working with hand tools, and strictly following safety guidelines to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding drawings and company paperwork.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Using hand tools safely and effectively.
• Able to perform to production demands.
• Identify common quality defects in materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and coachable to instruction.
• Work well with others and tolerate overtime.
• Move between roles as production needs require.

• Mark completed orders in Salesforce to update build schedule.
• Clean the work area throughout the shift.

Job Summary

Essential Skills

• Basic understanding of hand tools, including a chop saw, pneumatic nail and staple guns, cordless power drills and screwdrivers

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

• Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Move about the factory floor to access machinery, materials, and product storage.
• Transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate, activate, and use production machinery and hand tools that require repetitivemotions of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Detects and inspect parts for quality control at close vision (less than 20 inches) and assess safety hazards from a distance (20 feet or more).

The employee will be exposed to a manufacturing environment where the noise level can be loud and will work around moving mechanical parts. Regular exposure to airborne particles and temperature fluctuations should be expected. The use of appropriate PPE is required.
