Health Care Logistics is seeking a hands-on shop technician to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. You will operate CNC machines, run edge banding equipment, and assemble cabinets for final packaging, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to work extended hours when needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with cabinet construction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Familiar with cabinet construction concepts.
• Experience with CNC and edge banders is a plus.
• Able to use basic hand tools.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Able to lift 40 lbs frequently, up to 70 lbs with assistance.

Primary Function

Responsible for the production, assembly and packaging of cabinet units and shelving. This position will require the use of basic hand tools and operation of a CNC and edge bander machine.

• Operate CNC machine.
• Operate Edge bander equipment.
• Assemble and package cabinets.
• Maintain clean work area and perform general shop duties.
• Other duties and functions as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic measuring skills.
• Familiar with cabinet construction.
• Experience using and maintaining CNC and Edge bander machine is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be willing to work extended hours.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Frequently able to lift 40 lbs. by self and up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
• Frequently able to stand for long periods; ability to move around unaided (tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, and pushing and pulling).
• Frequent hand and finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer keyboard, basic hand tools and cabinetry equipment.
