Job summary

HCLTech in Seattle is seeking a Cabin Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain advanced aircraft cabin systems across aerospace programs. You will work with avionics, Linux-based platforms, and networking to deliver passenger-focused cabin solutions.

Qualified candidates have a related BS degree and hands-on experience with C++, C, Python, Linux, and Docker. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills are essential; ITAR/EAR compliance applies.

• Create and maintain ICDs, manuals, specifications, and support guides.

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking talented Cabin Systems Engineers to support the design, integration, and maintenance of advanced aircraft cabin systems for leading aerospace programs. This role combines expertise in avionics, aircraft cabin systems, software development, networking, and Linux-based platforms to deliver innovative cabin solutions that enhance passenger experience and aircraft functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Cabin Systems Design & Integration

• Design, develop, and implement integrated aircraft cabin solutions.
• Support and integrate:
• Passenger connectivity solutions
• Cabin lighting and environmental control systems
• Aircraft network and avionics interfaces
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system performance and integration.

Technical Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Support system validation, testing, and operational readiness activities.
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges affecting cabin system functionality.
• Develop and maintain system architecture documentation.
• Create and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Prepare technical manuals, engineering specifications, and support guides.
• Ensure documentation complies with aerospace engineering standards and program requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience with aircraft cabin systems and avionics.
• Proficiency in:

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP and VLANs.
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and system integration skills.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 69000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 128,000 per year
