Job summary

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic Cabana Server to deliver exceptional poolside hospitality and food & beverage service in a resort setting.

Role requires 18+ age for alcohol service, hospitality experience preferred, and certification (Food Handler/RBS) or ability to obtain. Outdoor work, teamwork, and strong guest service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Hospitality or resort experience preferred.
• Food Handler Card and RBS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, dependable and team-oriented.
• Able to stand/walk and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional poolside hospitality.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer guest questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly following state liquor laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pool deck and service areas.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate as needed.
• Support teammates and assist with opening, closing, and side work.
