A leading company is seeking a Prep Cook to assist in food preparation and kitchen maintenance. The role involves cooking, maintaining food safety, and ensuring cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have strong sanitation habits and excellent customer service skills.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Prep Cook assists the Cook by preparing ingredients, keeping the kitchen clean and orderly, and performing some of the simpler cooking functions as assigned according to the menu. The Prep Cook respectfully interacts with residents, family members, visitors, colleagues, and staff. This is a safety-sensitive position.
It is understood that not every incidental duty connected with operations listed in the job description is always specifically described. Employees, at management's discretion, may be required to perform duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed.
