A leading entertainment company in Las Vegas is seeking a Cabana Host to provide exceptional customer service, manage cabana reservations, and maintain the cleanliness of the pool area. The role involves upselling amenities, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to safety regulations. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
The primary responsibility of the Cabana Host is to make cabana reservations and welcome guests to the pool complex. Assist with customer needs; maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, including rafts, towels, and bathrooms. Upsell and book daybeds and cabanas. Conduct retail sales such as rafts, sundries, magazines, and newspapers. Protect glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex. Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations.
All Cabana Hosts will report to pre-shift briefing in full uniforms.
The Cabana Host will familiarize themselves with guest names and requested accommodations.
Responsible for making cabana reservations and upselling amenities for the pool.
Perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly for cleaning and stocking tasks.
Climb ladders as needed to access items on high shelves.
Provide excellent customer service.
Remain alert to all activity within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift.
Treat customers with courtesy and respect at all times.
Maintain appropriate grooming as per departmental appearance guidelines.
Notify the manager immediately of any issues requiring extraordinary attention (e.g., guest injury, conflicts).
Ensure all guests follow pool rules (e.g., diving safety, no running, no horseplay).
Ability to carry 25-40 lbs.
Ability to work in excessive heat for extended periods.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of beverages.
Fast-paced environment with multiple tasks under time constraints. Ability to handle high business volume and sensitive situations involving staff and guests efficiently.
