Position Overview

The Cabana host plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, customer service, and maintaining a safe and organized pool environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively and professionally build and maintain a clientele base.
• Leverage the clientele base to drive business to the pool and property.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about pool services, programs, and policies.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with seating cabanas and daybeds.
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints.
• Assist with cabana arrivals/departures and walk‑ins; manage cabana check‑ins and check‑outs.
• Ensure cabanas are set up prior to opening each day.
• Accurately register pool guests.
• Answer questions about pool offerings and hotel amenities.
• Work closely with VIP, FDL, PDL Room, guest experience services, and F&B team to provide high‑level service.
• Provide information regarding pool schedules, events, and policies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Enforce pool safety rules and regulations; monitor area for unsafe conditions and report promptly.
• Collaborate with lifeguards and management to address safety concerns.
• Assist with scheduling pool events, classes, and programs.
• Organize pool equipment and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• MUST be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to perform the duties listed in Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of pool safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other duties described.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate instructions in English.
• Ability to qualify for required licenses and permits.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.
